This Moulin A Vent is a full bodied red wine from Domaine Des Chaffangeons from Fleurie, Beaujolais, France. The Estate has existed since 1955. It was founded by Mr. Robert Depardon, who was then taken over from father to daughter with a surface of 7ha. Today they have an area of 16 hectares. Located near Fleurie, the Domaine des Chaffangeons is a producer of top quality windmill wine. Cultivated in plots on granite soil, shallow but rich in manganese, their Moulin à vent wine is vinified as a whole harvest for 10 days. It has a purple and limpid robe, flavors of very ripe black fruit, as well as a dense and fleshy finish in the mouth with solid but melted tannins. We recommend drinking it between 2 and 8 years of storage.
