Veglio Angelo Barolo 2015

1886, that was the year when Francesco Veglio began the first step leading to a long and fortuitous journey for the family brand. First, with the purchase of new vineyards, followed with the acquisition of a larger cellar; both within the district of La Morra. The first accolade was giving in 1933 with a gold medal, at the "Mostra campionaria del barolo" in the town of La Morra. at the end of the world war, Angelo Veglio began renovating and expanding the area in the winery; also purchasing new prominent vinyards. Today, Franco, representing the fifth generation, produces, beside Braolo, other wines from the same region. There are now- five "v" arranged into a star, to represent the Veglio Family Brand.

Warm, generous dark fruit, spices and flowers come through. This beautifully balanced wine reveals an outstanding sense of proportion and an elegant, refined finish.
