Tickerage Chardonnay

Another good English Chardonnay. This time from Tickerage, East Sussex. Unoaked, unfiltered and ale yellow in the glass. On the nose you'll experience lemon zest, tropical fruits and fresh peas. 11 months in tank before being bottled, extended lees contact gives a very round, creamy mouthfeel. Citrus flavours dominate, especially lemon. Also grapefruit, peach and tropical grilled pineapple. Bracing acidity but also some oatmeal flavours from the lees Long zesty lemon finish. Only 3000 bottles produced.
